Polly Robinson, “Girl’s Got Rhythm” launch

Polly Robinson launched her first poetry collection, Girl’s Got Rhythm, on Wednesday night with a lively party at Drummonds Bar, The Swan With Two Nicks pub, Worcester.

 

Polly read a selection from the collection and had invited friends to come and read their own work, too. The evening was compered by the amiable Andrew Owens while Polly’s photographer husband, Geoff Robinson, took scads of pictures (see a slide show on Polly’s blog). He’d arranged a surprise cake with the book’s cover design on the icing: superb. A joyful, warm and enthusiastic launch.
